Each vehicle can comfortably accommodate up to a maximum of 8 people (driver-guide included) so with bookings of more than 7 people, your party will be divided into two or more vehicles.
The tour sequence may vary and other brief stops may be added. Due to road, traffic and weather conditions, the order of the itinerary may change at the discretion of your driver-guide giving priority to your comfort and safety.

How many wineries will we visit?

The wine-tasting tours are carried out in different areas of the Chianti region and the trip from Florence to Chianti is approximately 50 minutes each way. For the optimal day, you will visit two/three of the best wineries in the area sipping and swirling local blends. That is a reasonable number of wineries to enjoy an informative experience with personal attention and an unhurried pace. Talk with hospitable winemakers, savor the delectable differences between the wines, and enjoy the wonderful surroundings. Indulge in a classic Tuscan lunch and visit a typical Tuscan hamlet.

How long will we spend at each winery?

While each winery visit is different, prepare to spend 60-90 minutes at each stop for the full experience, as you see firsthand where wine is produced, learn about wine making history and culture, and taste some of the estates' wines.

Do you have a set itinerary for your Tuscany wine tours? Which wineries do we visit?

The tours we offer are flexible and we do not visit the same wineries every day. We have tasted at over 70 different wineries in the region, concentrating mainly on the small boutique wineries. This means you will have a more personal relaxed experience. If you have any preferences for wineries or wine styles, please let us know when you book and we will do our best to accommodate for your party if we can, or visit somewhere with a similar style of wines.

What if I am not staying in Florence?

This Tuscany wine tour is designed for departure from Florence. If you are staying elsewhere in Tuscany, we offer custom pick up options from any place in the surrounding area. Please indicate your pick up address in the tour request form and we’ll adjust the itinerary accordingly.

Are wine tasting fees included?

No, they are not. Wine tasting fees are your responsibility and they typically start from Euro 20 and upward per person per winery depending on your choice. We work with 75+ wineries, each with its own unique pricing and experiences. Because each wine tasting tour is unique to each party, each tour will have different tasting fees. The wine tasting fees will be collected at each stop by the winery.
