Tour FAQs

Do I have to purchase airfare before I contact you?

No. Airfare can be purchased before, during or after our conversations begin. While we do not purchase airfare on our travelers’ behalf, we can assist in the process by offering advice and suggestions on where to fly to/from.

Can I customize this Italy family trip?

Absolutely! We can tweak this family themed itinerary with any of your requests from a reversed itinerary flow (visiting Rome first and ending in Venice), different style of hotel, additions or subtractions in the number of nights or extensions into other cities. Our Italian travel designers are committed to creating a customized itinerary which will delight every member of your family. Just tell our experts about your dream Italy family trip and we will work on making your dreams come true.

How far in advance should I begin planning my custom Italy family trip?

Too many travelers waited too late this 2023 to make their summer travel plans to popular destinations in Italy. By the time they zeroed in on it was sold out. So our advice is: make plans nine to 12 months in advance for the places that will be most popular in 2024 instead of waiting till these places are inundated before you start planning. Contact us now, when we still have the time and bandwidth to work with you in depth to design the perfect personalized itinerary.

What ages are appropriate for this Italy Family Trip?

While we welcome children ages 4 and up at the time of travel to discover the stories of Italy with us, we recommend that children be at least 6 years old at the time of the trip. This is based on several factors, such as flight time and jet lag, time zone differences in the destination, and amount of physical activity (e.g., walking) involved. Because each child is different, contact us to customize the trip for your little ones.
