The easy-paced Italy trip for seniors starts with a private transfer from the airport to the hotel of your choice for 3 nights. The rest of the day is free to settle into your hotel located right in the heart of the city and just steps from the major landmarks.

Day 2

Walk Back in Time to Ancient Rome with a Private Tour of the Colosseum

Today get a sense of what Rome looked like in ancient times on a private guided tour of the traditions, innovations, and architecture of the ancient Romans. Along with the Colosseum, you will visit the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill. The balance of the day is at your leisure - personalized recommendations will be provided.

Day 3

Visit the Sistine Chapel and Vatican Museums at their best on an exclusive after-hours private guided tour with round trip private transfer. Day 4

Transfer from Rome to Florence by High Speed Train

After breakfast, your private driver will accompany you to Rome's train station for a high-speed train to Florence. At the station in Florence, you will be met by your driver for a private transfer to the hotel of your choice where you will be staying for 3 nights.

Day 5

Stroll Through Renaissance Florence

This morning your private guide brings Florence’s role in the Renaissance to life with walk through the city charming streets before you head to the famed Accademia Gallery to meet the real David. Discover Ponte Vecchio, the city’s oldest bridge. Enjoy Piazza della Signoria an open-air museum of artwork by Renaissance masters. Then comes Piazza del Duomo, where the cathedral, baptistery and bell tower are located. Finally learn the storied history behind Michelangelo’s David. The remainder of the day is at your leisure.

Day 6

Florence Private Cooking Class with Market Tour

One of the best ways to appreciate Florence's amazing cuisine is on a culinary tour tailored to your level of ability, tastes and interests. Stroll through a local food market alongside your local chef, who then welcomes you into his home. After discovering firsthand how to prepare time-honored Tuscan dishes — including pasta, sauce, a main course and dessert — sit down to enjoy the lunch you prepared. Day 7

His Majesty Brunello di Montalcino, Medieval Landscapes & Rolling Hills

The symbolic gatehouse to the kingdom of Brunello is without doubt the magnificent UNESCO’s Val d’Orcia region. This is the setting for one of Italy's most famous and most important wines. After breakfast, our expert local driver-guide will collect you from your hotel for an enjoyable sample of Brunello and Montepulciano wines. You’ll visit two boutique wineries, sip their fine wine and have a traditional Tuscan lunch. You’ll also discover the neighboring hill town of Pienza home of Italy’s delicious Pecorino cheese before returning to your hotel.

Day 8

Private transfer from Florence to the Amalfi Coast via Pompeii

Transfer in a private vehicle to your hotel on the Amalfi Coast, stopping en route in the city of the ancient city of Pompeii for a private guided tour of its fascinating archeological treasures. After your visit, continue to Amalfi where you will spend two nights.

Day 9

A Day on the Amalfi Coast

Your private driver will pick you up from the hotel this morning for a scenic drive along the breathtaking Amalfi Coastline. Encounter spectacular scenery around every bend on a drive along one of Europe's most dramatic shorelines. Stop off at the picturesque coastal villages and get lost in the labyrinth of cobblestone lane ways that snake up the mountainside before returning to your hotel. Day 10

Departure

After breakfast, transfer privately to your departure airport, railway station or port. Buon Viaggio! If you are not yet ready to go home, we can help spending extra nights on the Amalfi Coast or even adding more time in Florence and Rome (optional). The choice is yours and we would be happy to design your trip as you wish.
