Overview

Perched at the top of the Spanish Steps, the Hotel de la Ville has spectacular views and a timeless, stately elegance. The palace is the second Rocco Forte’s hotel in Rome, after the hotel De Russie. Behind the elegant 18th-century façade, contemporary style has been beautifully combined with details inspired by the Grand Tour and the result is art-filled spaces that blend plush contemporary decor with classical influences, combining handmade wallpaper, rich Italian fabrics and historic tapestries.

The nine-floors palace include 15 suites with large terraces, a state-of-the-art spa and a wellness area, an enchanting internal courtyard and a terrace overlooking the Villa Borghese gardens. Boasting a rich selection of bars and restaurants, the cuisine is overseen by celebrated Michelin-starred chef Fulvio Piernagelini who has created a menu ranging from the most classic of Italian dishes to creative modern Mediterranean delicacies.
